South Korean company Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event began on Wednesday. In this live event, the company has launched Samsung Galaxy Z fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone, Smartwatch Watch 6 Series and Galaxy Tab S9 in the Global Market. The event will run till 29 July in Seoul, South Korea.

Samsung galaxy Z fold 5

The company claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 5 smartphone is the world's thinnest and lightest foldable phone. The phone is 129.9x154.9 x 6.1mm when the phone is unfolded. Whereas on folding, its dimensions are 67.1 x 154.9 x 13.4mm. It weighs 253 grams.

Galaxy Z fold 5 smartphone smartphones will be available for sale in India on August 14. The company has revealed the price of Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z fold 5 in the global market. Their prices in India have not been disclosed yet.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 specifications

The display phone has a 7.6 -inch dynamic AMOLED display working at a 120Hz refresh rate, its resolution 2, 176x1, 812 pixels. The phone has a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Processor and Software to run the device Android 13 based One UI is 5.1 operating system, which has been given Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in the phone to process.

RAM and storage phones have an option of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage with 12GB RAM.

Triple camera setup is available on the back panel of the camera phone. This includes a 50MP primary lens, 12MP under-display camera and a 12MP camera on the secondary panel. A 10MP+4MP under display camera has been given for selfie and video calling.

The battery and charger phone have a 4400 mAh battery, which gets a high speed speed of 25W to charge. The company claims that this phone can be charged up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. Wireless charging support is also available in the device.

The device for connectivity connectivity comes with NFC, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C 3.2 port, nanosim and ESIM support. The handset for security comes with IPX8 rating and side mounted fingerprint sensor for safety.

The price of 256 GB of Samsung Galaxy Z fold 5 starts at Rs 1,47,900, 512 GB of Rs 1,57,000 and 1 TV of 1,79,000. This smartphone is going to be available in India from August 18. You can buy this smartphone from Amazon and Samsung's retailer store.
