Mahindra Scorpio-N Price
The starting price of Mahindra Scorpio-N 2024 is Rs 16.99 lakh. The Scorpio N Z8 Select variant is cheaper than the regular Z8 variant by Rs 1.66 lakh. The Scorpio-N is priced between Rs 13.60 to Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). The car comes with more than 70 connected features.
Bookings for the SUV are open and it will be available at dealerships from March 1, 2024. In India, it competes with Tata Harrier and Safari, while in this price range it also competes with the top line variants of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Exterior
Mahindra has introduced Z8 select variants of the Scorpio-N along with the Midnight Black color option of the XUV700. Apart from this, there is no change in the Scorpio-N. It has 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels, dual barrel LED headlights and LED projector fog lamps with DRL.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Interior
The cabin of the Z8 Select is similar to the regular Scorpio N Z8 variant and gets leatherette upholstery with the same black and brown cabin theme. Like the Z8 variant, the Z8 Select is also available only in 7 seater configuration.
Mahindra Scorpio-N mileage
The Mahindra Scorpio-N 2024 model comes in both petrol and diesel engine options, and the mileage can vary depending on several factors such as:
Engine type:
- Petrol: The petrol engine offers a claimed mileage of 12.6 km/l for the manual transmission and 12.4 km/l for the automatic transmission.
- Diesel: The diesel engine offers a claimed mileage of 16.1 km/l for the manual transmission and 16.3 km/l for the automatic transmission.
Driving conditions:
- City driving: Expect lower mileage in city driving due to frequent stop-and-go traffic.
- Highway driving: You can expect better mileage on highways due to consistent speeds.
- Driving style: Aggressive driving with frequent hard accelerations and braking will decrease mileage.
Other factors:
Vehicle weight: Heavier variants may have slightly lower mileage.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Features
Talking about the features, it has features like 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Adreno X connected car technology, built-in Alexa and semi-digital instrument cluster.
Apart from this, the special features of UV also include features like Sony 12 speaker audio system with 3D sound staging, dual zone climate control, wireless charger, electric sunroof and electrically adjustable driver seat. However, it does not have dual-zone AC, push button start-stop and auto headlights like the Z8 variant.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Engine
Mahindra Scorpio-N comes with a 2.0-litre Stallion turbocharged petrol engine and mHawk diesel engine. The petrol engined SUV generates 203hp of power and 370NM of peak torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. When paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, this engine generates 10Nm more torque.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Gearbox
Whereas, the diesel engine generates 175hp and 370NM peak torque with manual gearbox. This engine generates torque of 400Nm with 6-speed torque converter. There is also a 4 wheel drive (4WD) option with the Scorpio-N diesel engine, but it is not available in the Z8 Select variant.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Safety Features
For safety, Mahindra has provided many features like disc brakes in all wheels, 6 airbags, hill hold control, hill descent control, reverse camera with sensor, tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control and rear disc brake.
